Everyone wants to be loved. Is there any better feeling than to know that you are loved and accepted in spite of all your shortcomings? Love stories are popular in books and movies because they reach into the deep place of the heart where we desire to be truly loved and live happily ever after.

I have good news for you today. The greatest love story ever told includes you! God loves you. He sacrificed Himself so that you could be with Him forever in Heaven. You are so loved!

God Defines His Love For You.

God’s love is far superior than mankind’s love. It is deeper, broader, higher and completely fulfilling.

It’s a Great Love

Ephesians 2:4–5  “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)”

The word “great” in this verse speaks of the amount of God’s love. Not only does He love you, but He is the ever flowing fountain of love. His love is greater than all your sin.

It’s a Forgiving Love

Isaiah 38:17  “Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: But thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: For thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.”

Your sins separate you from God and require judgment of eternal torment. However, God’s love made a way for you to be forgiven of all your sin through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  God is ready to forgive you today if you will accept His love.

It’s a Saving Love

Titus 3:4–7  “But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

It’s an Everlasting Love

Jeremiah 31:3  “The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: Therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”

God has always loved you. God will always love you. His love is not bound by time. He has been drawing you to Himself trying to get your attention.

It’s Divine Love

1 John 4:7–10  “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”

God is the source of all true love. He is the example of love. He is the origin of goodness and kindness. Satan blames the problems of the world on God to confuse you.  False religions misrepresent God and put Him in a bad light.  God is not the problem. He is the solution!

God Declares His Love For You.

John 3:16  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

God declares His love throughout the ages. He shouts it in creation. He whispers it in the heart. His love is not a secret. He wants you to know Him and accept His love.

God Demonstrates His Love For You.

Romans 5:8  “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

God went far beyond declaring His love for you. He proved it beyond a doubt. Never has there been a greater demonstration of love than the sinless Son of God dying for sinful man. You have nothing to offer God that He needs. You have no way of earning your way to Heaven. All the good works of a lifetime cannot erase the sins you have committed. Sin is a debt that must be paid. In His love, Jesus Christ paid for your sin on the Cross. If you reject His payment, you must pay for your sins by eternal separation from God in the torments of Hell.  Rev. 20:10-15  Why not accept His love today?

God Delivers His Love To You.

2 Corinthians 5:20–21  “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

God went a step further and put people in your life to deliver His message of love. Family members, coworkers, friends, preachers, even strangers: All who gave you this message are sent by God to remind you of His love for you. How many times have you rejected God’s love? Today is your opportunity to be forgiven and secure your reservation in Heaven.

Do You Accept His Love Today?

Do you confess that you are a sinner who has sinned against God by breaking His commandments?

Do you understand that there is an eternal penalty for your sin?

Do you believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross to pay for your sin, was buried, and rose again?

Will you believe on Jesus Christ today and accept Him as your Savior?

Romans 10:9–13  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

In faith believing in your heart that He will keep His Word, ask Jesus to forgive you now. You can pray something like this:

”Dear Jesus,

I confess that I am a sinner and that I deserve to pay for my own sin in Hell. But I don’t want to go to Hell. Today, I accept you as my Savior. I believe in my heart that you died on the Cross to pay for my sin and rose again from the dead. Please forgive me of all my sin and take me to Heaven when I die. I am trusting you alone as my Savior. Thank you for loving me and saving me from my sin. Amen.”

If you asked Jesus to save you today, let me know so that we can get you more information to help you live the exciting and abundant Christian life. Salvation is the beginning of a brand new life for you in Christ. He will never leave you, nor forsake you!

If you are a Christian, thank God today for His love and salvation!  Would you comment and share this so others can hear the good news of the Gospel?
