How to Be 100% Sure You are Going to Heaven

Can you know for sure that Heaven will be your eternal Home?  Yes!

There are not many things in your life that you can know with 100% confidence. There are just too many variables and things out of your control. Circumstances change, and people let you down. Life is changing all the time, and we learn to live with uncertainty. However, the Bible says that there are some things you can know for sure.

1.  You Can Be 100% Sure That God Can’t Lie.

Titus 1:2 “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;”

You are lied to every day and have learned to be skeptical. God is not like humans who lie. He says what He means and means what He says. His promises will be fulfilled beyond your expectations, and His judgments will be executed exactly as He warns.  Many unbelievers will be shocked in eternity to find out that God keeps His Word.

2. You Can Be 100% Sure that God Loves You.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

God has always loved you and has tried to get your attention to notice Him and accept His Son. This article is one more of His attempts to draw you to Him.

3.  You Can Be 100% Sure that You Will Die Someday.

Hebrews 9:27  “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”

Since the beginning of time mankind has searched for ways to cheat death.  With all of man’s knowledge and technology, death is still inevitable. There is a day on God’s calendar when you will breathe your last breath and cross over into eternity.  Your body will die and be buried, but your soul will live forever. Those who choose to have their sins forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ will live forever in a perfect place called Heaven. Those who decide to die in their sins must spend eternity in a place of fire and torment called Hell.

4.  You Can Be 100% Sure that You Need a Saviour.

Romans 6:23  “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

The Bible teaches that all have sinned and come short of entering Heaven.  The penalty for unforgiven sin is an eternity in Hell. Thankfully, God sent a Saviour to pay for our sin.  His name is Jesus Christ.  Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, died on the Cross to pay for sins, and rose from the dead to prove His power of death.

5.  You Can Be 100% Sure that You Are Going To Heaven.

1 John 5:13  “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

The Bible clearly says that believing in Jesus Christ is the only way God will forgive sin and allow you to go to Heaven.  Religion, baptism, church membership, good works, or financial contributions will not save you.  The only thing that will matter at the moment of your death is your personal belief in Jesus Christ.

Be 100% sure of Heaven starting right now!

If you believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and the Saviour of the World, you should pray the following prayer with all of your heart asking Him to forgive you.  He will hear your prayer and see your faith. God will keep His promise. You can be sure that you will go to Heaven when you die!

Dear Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner and I do not deserve to go to Heaven. I don’t want to go to Hell. I believe that You are the Son of God Who died on the Cross to pay for my sin, that You were buried and rose again. Please forgive all my sin and take me to Heaven when I die. I am trusting you alone as my way to Heaven. Thank you for saving me. Amen.

Let me know if you put your faith in Christ today!
